I discovered Camera Ready Cosmetics CRC while at IMATS this passed January. During my time there, I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely folks at CRC and let me say they are super down to earth.
Camera Ready Cosmetics, for those of you who may not know, is a makeup heaven for all things makeup. Located in San Diego, this trusted retailer is the perfect place to purchase pro-products. Don’t get me wrong, there are tons of beauty stores out there, but every time I go in, I’m always disappointed to find expired inventory; definitely not the case here !
I was prompted to purchase a few items after winning 200 points at their booth. (200 points translates to $2.00). Being in LA, I placed an online order and let’s just say I went over those two dollars.
I love that their website carries a selection of both pro and commercial products.
The first item I added to my cart was the La Femme Blush. I’ve never heard of this brand before and was curious to see how it worked. At $3.50, I have to admit I was skeptical, but this blush performs amazingly and feels just as wonderful on my skin. I also love that each blush comes in an individual pans so I can easily add it to my z-palette.
I’d also like to mention that Camera Ready Cosmetics basically recreates the shopping experience at your finger tips. Normally I stray from purchasing blushes online because I hate not knowing how they’ll look swatched….definitely not the case.
I managed to pick up the famous Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash curler as well as the Japonesque False Eyelash Applicator. They have a great selection of makeup tools.
I just had to buy the Make Up Eraser. I always see this on my Instagram feed.
Below are a few other items I purchased.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my Camera Ready Cosmetics purchase. I can definitely see myself purchasing from their site again. I did notice that they frequently update their stock. So if you can’t find a brand, I recommend regularly visiting their site as they constantly are adding new items.
My favorite new brands are Dollup Beauty and BECCA cosmetics.
***Side Note: Everything shipped came wrapped with bubble wrap. I was so eager to open the box when it arrived I failed to realize I had dropped the blush. If it weren’t for the bubble wrap, it would have broken. ***
Let me know if you guys would like to see a tutorial using the Makeup Eraser, or a separate review for any of the items I’ve mentioned above.
