The Golden Globes took place in Los Angeles this Sunday and ironically the only thing not lackluster was the makeup. Celebrity Makeup artist, Sandy Ganzer created a radiant look on one of Euphoria’s leading actresses, Hunter Schafer. Sandy’s use of Shiseido products proves glamour does not need to be over the top or campy. We’re finally beginning to see a shift in the Beauty Industry and I couldn’t be happier.
Inspo: “The look I created for her is simple at first glance, but they beauty is in the details. Her Rick Owens piece instantly reminded me of my last trip to Japan, and in turn had a major influence on the beauty look we did. The shimmering sequin skirt looked like Kawazu waterfalls, and the satin jacket reminded me of Kinkaku-ji Temple in Kyoto. I took the inspiration and ran with it.” – Artist, Sandy Ganzer
Using the following Shiseido products, you can recreate this very look at home. Surprisingly enough, it requires minimal steps.
First and foremost prep your skin. You know, moisturize! After prepping the skin, apply Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing powder as a base followed by the Shiseido foundation. Sandy used the shade Opal on Hunter.
To achieve the radiant glow apply Shiseido’s Minimalist Whipped Powder Blush in Chiyoko on the apples of the cheeks and lightly blend the blush out towards the temples.
“The color (Chiyoko) reminds me of freshly bloomed cherry blossoms, and it’s my current favorite! ” – Sandy Ganzer
To complete the look, apply Shiseido’s Kajal InkArtist in Lilac Lotus on the upper eyelids and blended up towards the brows.
