For many, November marks the beginning of the Holiday Season. However, for a Beauty lover, November is a reminder that Sephora will host their Bi-Annual Sale. As a true procrastinator, I’ll be partaking on the last day of the event. Normally I would buy items from my wish list or start my Christmas shopping for Friends & Family but The Makeup Show coincidently happened earlier this month. So I am not as enthusiastic for the Sephora Sale.
Although I always tell myself I won’t purchase anything during the sale, 20% off is hard to resist. I really want to try the TooCool for School “Pumpkin 24k Gold Mask” – well at first glance because the packaging is simply adorable but also because it claims to improve the appearance of dryness and dullness. The second item I’ve been wanting for quite some time is the “Glow Recipe, Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask”. The Jolly Rancher scent and milky pink packaging alone made me fall in love but the fact that it improves your skin’s appearance. If you can see, the main goal of my purchase is to improve the appearance of my skin.
Sorry for not being enthusiastic, there really are great things you can purchase during the sale – remember makeup rarely goes on sale. So if you aren’t burned out like myself, I recommend picking up a Beauty Value Set . There are so many to choose from you’re sure to find one you love and receiving 20% off on already heavily discounted Beauty Kits is pretty hard to resist. Another item I’d recommend you purchase would be any high-end or normally out of budget item you’ve been lusting over. For example, eyeshadow palettes are now reaching the mid $100’s. I haven’t purchased any Natasha Denona palettes not because of their quality but because I know they will be amazing. The moment I fall I try one I’m certain I’ll fall in love and want to purchase them all.
I think it’s probably best to end this post now before I convince myself I “need” everything I recommended below.
