Fish have to swim, birds have to fly and Makeup Artist will head to the East Coast this weekend. The beloved Makeup Show New York will take place on May 7-8 at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
The Makeup Show is an event exclusive to the Makeup Industry – not open to the public. If this is your first time attending, The Makeup Show is the perfect time to re-stock your Makeup kit. Before attending the event, look over the exhibitors and make a shopping list. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve come home only to realize I forgot something important. You might be thinking, well if you forgot to purchase the item it clearly wasn’t that important. On the contrary, the event is full, you’re excited, you’re chatting with new and old friends waiting in a line while slightly hungry and tired. All together this creates a wonderful environment to lose focus, become distracted and forget.
Below you can see the extensive list of featured Exhibitors.
I’m excited and happy to see that The Makeup Show Community is growing and can’t wait to shop new brands such as: Charlotte Tilbury, It Cosmetics, and Guerlain. Lets not forget some my top favorites: MustaeV Cosmetics, Velour Lashes, The Lip Bar and Embryolisse USA. After creating your shopping list, the second most important thing you should do is to familiarize yourself with the Floor Plan. Some booths are hard to find. If I remember correctly, the aisles are tight and it’s normal for crowds of people to cover the vendor booths.
You can access the Floor Plan (here).
If you haven’t purchased your tickets take advantage of the pre-sale prices. The savings can easily be a new liquid lipstick. You can still purchase Tickets at the pre-sale price (here).
With there being several things you can do to prepare for The Makeup Show New York. The most important thing is to have fun! If you are attending The Makeup Show New York I hope you enjoy your weekend filled with artistry, support, education, admiration and let’s not forget shopping!
