Just in time for Fall, Ardency Inn added a new shade to their Modster Long Play Supercharged Lip Color line. Their new color “Black is Red” is none other than a dimensional, deep, vampy, almost black-red. Like I warned you in the previous post – this fall will make a dent on your pockets.
The new “Black is Red” Full coverage Lipstick is well, a full coverage, pigmented and extremely comfortable to wear. Who knew such transparency existed. True to the Modster style, each lipstick bullet is encased in a sleek, glossy metallic tube with a magnetic cap. Unlike its plastic counterparts, the packaging feels both sturdy and durable.
The “Black is Blue” and “Black is Red” Lipsticks can now be found at both Sephora (here) and Ardency Inn (here). Each lipstick retails for $27.00 and contain 0.012 oz. of product.

If you’ve been following this Fall’s makeup and fashion trends, you’ll know we’re once again living the 90’s. This collection is an elevated revival of the classic brown lip; reaffirming colors should no longer be feared, but worn in confidence. The only difficulty I’ve found in this Fall’s Dark VampyLip is being able to pull it off. Darker lipsticks are much harder to wear without appearing flat and dull or inappropriate. The new Modster Lipsticks in the color “Black is Red” has amazing dimension. Their finish gives the appearance of tediously combining your favorite grape hue with black. Or much rather, having a custom color created by a makeup artist. After all, it makes sense why their color in “Black is Blue” won a Nylon Magazine 2015 Beauty Hit List Award for Best Creative Color Lipstick. The new “Black is Red” is a color that has the versatility, sophistication and edge that can be worn this Fall regardless of your social scene, age or profession.
