The dreaded eyebrow…
Beauty trends evolve at such a constant rate, they show no forgiveness to our eyebrows. One year your brows should be thin, slim lines while the following year they must be full and fuzzy. You would think the beauty industry would show leniency towards a part of our face that takes forever to regenerate. Or at least not rely on trends seeing as your eyebrows are essential in framing your face. Luckily, there are so many products available in the market that allow you to both fill-in or recreate your beloved eyebrows. The only problem is, with so many products out there, it’s hard to find the right one.
Let me introduce you to one of my current eyebrow favorites. The MustaeV Silky Sketch Brow Pencil is a traditional pencil that requires a sharpener. When I was first given the Silky Sketch Brow Pencil I was both overwhelmed and scared. Far from what’s currently in the market, the Silky Sketch Brow Pencil was intimidating. Since the pencil does not come with a built in spoolie or fine tip I thought it would be difficult to use. Don’t and I repeat, DON’T let this discourage you. Using this pencil made me realize there’s no need for fancy tools to achieve beautiful brows.
The MustaeV Silky Sketch Brow Pencil is a neutral ash-brown shade and has a consistency similar to the Anastasia Brow wiz. It is dry and waxy but glides on your eyebrows smoothly without tugging or pulling. It can be used to fill-in spots or sharpened to a fine point for a sharp eyebrow tail.
The Silky Sketch Brow Pencil is available on the MustaeV site (here) and retails for $13.00. Each pencil contains 1.3 g. of product compared to the 0.085 grams found in the Anastasia Brow Wiz that retails for $20.00.

What do you think? I’d love to hear about your favorite brow pencil.
