I was first introduced to the Tangle Teezer at a salon. I am the proud owner of curly, full hair that has a mind of its own. To add insult to misery it easily tangles. So for the longest, my best friend has been a large paddle brush. I even use one while at a salon. There’s no shame in untangling your hair if it prevents you from discomfort, regardless of how fancy a salon. During my last salon trip, my overall experience was much different. When I requested a paddle brush, the hairdresser told me he had an amazing new untangling brush. He simply began to run the comb through my hair. My initial reaction was fear. Yet, too my surprise, the experience was painless. This led me question his madness where he eagerly explained he was using a Tangle Teezer.
I Purchased the Tangle Teezer at a Sally’s Beauty Supply store. Since my purchase, several colors and variations have been released. It’s funny how much a brush can save a substantial amount of time. Combing my hair can typically take up to twenty minutes. Isn’t that crazy? Now it feels as though I spend next to nothing to smooth out the unruly knots. I’ve waited a few months before reviewing this product because I am torn. My biggest complaint with the Tangle Teezer is the loud noise it makes. It sounds as though the Tangle Teezer is tearing through the knots but it really does untangle your hair.
Have you tried a Tangle Teezer?
